Citing the Ayyubid al-Nasir Yusuf II (AH 634-658 / AD 1236-1259), ‘al-malik al-Nāṣir / Ṣalāḥ al-Dunyā wa a/l-Dīn Yūsuf ibn Muḥammad’ (‘King al-Nasir Salah al-Dunya wa al-Din Yusuf son of Muhammad’ in Arabic); totally effaced mint and date formula in the margin. Rev. Citing the ʿAbbasid caliph al-Mustaʿsim billah (AH 640-656 / AD 1242-1258) within a square, ‘al-Imām / al-Mustaʿṣim / billāh Abū Aḥmad / amīr al-muʾminīn’ (‘Imam al-Mustaʿsim billah Abu Ahmad, Commander of the Believers’ in Arabic); marginal legend off flan and effaced.
